Products: Textile Expansion Joints

Piping and pipeline systems carrying different types of fluids with various compositions, pressures and temperatures are the scope of application for the compensators or expansion joints.

All these systems are often subjected to damage and breakage due to mechanical stress caused by variations in temperature and pressure, as well as by unwanted vibrations and movements.

Expansion or dilation joints, also known as compensators, are flexible connections whose function is to absorb vibrations and to compensate the movements between the two pipe sections to which they are connected.

Textile expansion joints are the most appropriate when it is necessary to compensate large and even combined movements, when the chemical composition of the gases is aggressive, or when it is necessary to reduce vibration transmission, to reduce noise and for thermal insulation.

Componit manufactures a wide range of Expansion Joints to cover virtually any application. Consult one of our board experts to find the joint that best suits your needs.
